The sold-out event welcomed home "American Idol" Kris Allen where he told about his recent trip to Rwanda, placing shoes on hundreds of needy children. Raising awareness for the national movement "One Day Without Shoes", the party featured speakers from Heifer International, Toms Shoes, A Bridge to Rwanda and a 3-song concert by Allen.
After a brief recess, The Art Party has returned to bring unique entertainment to the young art crowd in the metro.
