With satisfactory, if not always standout, fare, this restaurant in the McCain Crossing shopping center will get you by any night of the week. And probably the next afternoon, considering the portions. The spacious, pristine interior has glossy wooden booths and tables and simple light fixtures perched above tables with moderately Mexican ornamentation. Upbeat Mexican tunes keep the relaxed, somewhat dim spot from seeming drowsy at dinnertime. We easily could have reviewed Cactus Jack's as one of our Cheap Eats - only a handful of entrees on the varied menu cost more than $10.
