Basil Shabazz

Pine Bluff’s Basil Shabazz took the national prep scene by storm in 1991. The 6-foot-1, 195-pounder earned National High School Athlete of the Year honors as he lettered in four sports and became one of the top sprinters, running backs and pro baseball prospects in the nation.

Sync editor Nate Olson caught up with Shabazz in suburban Dallas last month for this three-part video interview.
