Southern Fried Poetry Slam Qualifier

Foreign Tongues, a Little Rock poetry group, will hold its Southern Fried Poetry Slam Qualifier at 8 p.m. Friday at Sports Page, 414 Louisiana St., in downtown Little Rock. Admission is $5. New Orleans, La. will be the home of this year's Southern Fried Poetry Slam, June 5-8. Southern Fried is the largest adult regional poetry slam in the nation and is a four-day long festival, comprising of competition and camaraderie of poets from all over the southeast and beyond.
