Zumbathon for Lucie’s Place: A fundraiser featuring Zumba instructor Veronica Morgan will be held at Miss Kitty’s Saloon from 6-7:30 p.m. Friday. Miss Kitty’s is located at 307 W. 7th St. Tickets will be $10 at the door. All proceeds will be used to support Lucie’s Place, a Little Rock organizationwhose mission is to support lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender homeless young adults in the area. Lucie’s Place is currently working to raise money to open a home, specifically for LGBT homeless young adults to grow, thrive and develop all the skills necessary for a life of independence.
