Inaugural Bible on Display

Inaugural Bible on Display: The Historic Arkansas Museum will have George Washington’s Inaugural Bible on display at the museum from 5-8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday. The bible is part of the museum’s upcoming exhibit, Treasures of Arkansas Freemasons, 1838 – 2013, on exhibit Friday through July 12. For more information, visit historicarkansas.org.

Johnny Winter is a man of few words. The Texas-raised blues-guitar legend is in Sweden during the last days of May, riding on his tour bus, searching for the band’s hotel. “Fine,” “going fine” and “real good” are some of the answers Winter offers to questions.
